Private label rights (PLR) articles are articles which are written in bundles and sold to multiple buyers who use them as source materials for their website content, eBooks or other published material.
While some people think that using PLR articles is not quite ethical, others believe that it’s alright to use them as long as they are rewritten or modified before they are published to ensure that they are unique.
There are many known advantages of using PLR articles, but the top five are:
1. They are inexpensive.
PLR articles are very cheap. You can have them for a dollar per article. So if the PLR package contains 10 articles, you only need to pay $10 for it. Articles written by freelance writers can cost between $5 and $30 per page which can be quite heavy on the budget.
2. You no longer need to research with PLRs.
The need for research is no longer necessary when you use PLR articles. The author of the PLR package that you buy has already done the research for you. All you need is to rewrite them to make them original, but you don’t need to change the idea that it intends to convey.
3. They contain relevant information.
There are lots of PLR providers that put quality and relevant information in their products. Their cost may be a bit higher than the rest but they are still cheaper compared to the investment you make when you buy content from other sources.
Just do a little research before buying PLRs and you will find that there are lots of PLRs which carry value and quality.
4. They are editable.
Once you purchased a PLR, its all yours and you can do anything with it. You can edit it to inject your own voice and style into it. The information is already there and all you need to do is make some changes to display your own personality in the article. It should take you just a few minutes to do it.
5. You don’t have to worry about duplicate content.
Duplicate content is an issue for many webmasters and website owners. They are afraid that Google will penalize them for posting content that is already published somewhere else on the web.
Well, it’s true that you can be penalized for posting content that is covered by copyright laws but not with PLR articles.
As far as Google is concerned, you can be penalized for publishing the same content more than once on the same site and not for publishing content that’s been published somewhere else.
And since PLR buyers are aware that the same PLR package can be resold multiple times, they do not publish the PLRs as they are; they rewrite those to produce unique article that can only be seen on their own websites.
If you have difficulty with your time or budget in producing or outsourcing content for your website, you can try quality PLRs. They can still work for your advantage.
