It is also important to have rests during the work-out program in bodybuilding to avoid overtraining and to allow muscles to recuperate.
Bodybuilders who have spent months or years developing and enhancing their muscle parts can engage in a different kind of sport called competitive bodybuilding. They normally use products such as tanning substances and oil to provide more muscular definition during exhibition. They are judged based on the aesthetic appearance by a panel of judges.
